The Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Hungary Zhanibek Abdrashov participated in the opening ceremony of the 27th Berekfürdő International Art Exhibition of Great Kipchak (Nagykunság), DKNews.kz reports.
The exhibition, which takes place in Kazakhstan's sister region, Greater Kipchakia, also features works by Kazakh artists Natalia Ligai and Gulmaral Tatibaeva. They are members of the Union of Artists and Designers of Kazakhstan, awarded with high honors. Their personal exhibitions have been held in Kazakhstan, Russia, USA, European and Asian countries.
In his speech, the Ambassador noted that the participation of Kazakh artists in the international exhibition is an important part of cultural exchange and will make a great contribution to deepening mutual understanding between our related countries and strengthening bilateral relations. He emphasized that creativity is a natural driving force of interaction between countries.
The project of the Berekfürdő International Art Exhibition has existed for almost 30 years. During this time about 140 artists from Hungary and abroad have participated. This year the artists from Kazakhstan were awarded this honor.
