Kazakhstan and Romania Exceed Expectations in Trade

The trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Romania for the first quarter of 2023 amounted to 690 million US dollars, which is 36.6% higher than in the same period of the previous year, DKNews.kz reports.

The main goods in circulation between the countries were crude oil, uranium, natural gas, medicines, household appliances, electric stoves, corn and others.

Accordingly, exports from Kazakhstan to Romania increased by 36.3% and amounted to 665 million US dollars. And imports grew by 45.7% and amounted to 25 million US dollars.

It should be noted that the trade turnover for the last year reached 2.7 billion US dollars, which is 69.1% higher than in 2021.
