The Embassy of Kazakhstan, together with the Tatar and Kyrgyz communities in Lithuania, presented their traditions, customs, and national cuisine, DKNews.kz reports.
The guests of the event were shown the ritual "tusau kesu", a representative of the Kazakh diaspora, 7-year-old Ali Kazhymurat, performed excerpts from the works of Abai.
The Embassy staff spoke about the life path and heritage of such prominent representatives of the Kazakh people as Sultan Beibars, Temirbek Zhurgenov, and Murat Auezov, whose anniversaries are widely celebrated around the world this year. In addition, they got acquainted with the activities of the leaders of the Alash Orda movement and their role in the formation of the Kazakh statehood.
The participants of the event were able to taste Kazakh national cuisine, Kazakh national costumes, and get acquainted with the tourism potential of our country.
