Kypchak Trail in Hungary: Karcag Pleases with a Unique Cultural Festival

Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Hungary Zhanibek Abdrashov took part in the Lamb Cooking Festival, which traditionally takes place on the last Saturday of June in the city of Karcag in eastern Hungary, DKNews.kz reports.

As part of the event, Zhanibek Abdrashov met with Minister of Finance Mihály Varga, the Deputy of Parliament, President of the Union of Kipchaks of Hungary Sándor Kovács and Mayor of Karcag Tibor Szepesi.

During the meetings, issues of cooperation between the two countries in the spheres of economy and culture, as well as regional ties were discussed.

It should be noted that the descendants of the Kipchaks, who arrived in this territory as early as the 13th century, historically live in the city of Karcag as well as Karcag is a fraternal city of Merke (Zhambyl region).
