Winners of the VII Abai Readings competition were awarded in Astana, DKNews.kz reports.
The Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted an awarding ceremony for the winners of the VII Abai Readings competition.
Opening the event Deputy Director of the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan Botagoz Kaipova noted that this traditional competition is organized to promote the concept of the Head of State "Adal azamat", originating from the Abai study about "Perfect Man" and popularization of the literary heritage of the great thinker.
Deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ruslan Rustemov congratulated the participants and winners of the competition, emphasizing that the talents of young reciters, their acting skills, knowledge of several languages, skillful use of digital technologies in creating videos cause sincere admiration.
According to Zharkynbek Amantayuly, a Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a person who reads Abai, who always calls for learning, work and spirituality, has a great future and potential.
In his speech, the founder of the Republican Public Association "Senimen Bolashakka", sponsor of the VII Abai Readings Nurken Asanov emphasized that Abai is a great, unsurpassed personality, and his teachings and philosophy have not lost their importance and relevance throughout the centuries.
Altynay Askarova, Head of the Department of the Research Institute "Abai Academy" of the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov, also addressed the contest participants. According to her, the rich legacy of the genius poet is a spiritual treasure not only of our country but also of all mankind. And our task is to preserve Abai's legacy through a deep understanding of his works and to instill in the younger generation an interest in his work.
About 4500 people have participated in the Abai readings over the years.
About 400 people from all regions of the country took part in this year's competition. There were 31 finalists, and 22 of them became winners.
Aliya Kairbayeva, a pupil of the kindergarten "Altyn Besik" in Atbasar, won the Grand Prix.
1st place was won by an 11th-grade student from secondary school No. 18. Karaoy, Almaty region Akbota Polat, 3rd grade student of the Kargaly Kazakh school named after M. Aryn, Aktobe Inkar Abdirahman and teacher of the secondary school named after B. Sokpakbaev, Shardara, Turkestan region Gulparshyn Arynova;
Second place was taken by a student of the gymnasium school No. 8 of Zhezkazgan, Ulytau region, Milana Bekmuratova, a 6th-grade student of the al-Farabi school-lyceum of the Karasai district of the Almaty region Mazhit Nurtleu, a 9th grade student of the N. Tlenbiev school-gymnasium of the Atyrau region Aibyn Utemisov and teacher of the secondary school No. 4 named after K. Kaysenov, Konaev, Almaty region, Aigerim Turzhanova;
ІІІ place was awarded to a 7th-grade student of the school lyceum named after A.S. Pushkin, Tyulkubas district, Turkestan region Ainar Yunusuly, a student of secondary school No. 6 named after K. Zhalairi, Shengeldy village, Almaty region Baltabay Akanseri, a 7th-grade student at a school named after Abai, Abai district, Karaganda region Gulbarshyn Nurserik, a 10th-grade student at a secondary school named after I. Tairov, Almaty region Yasmina Turganzhanova , student of school No. 24 in Uralsk Emil Denderya and senior officer of the Main Military Medical Directorate of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan Saulet Kaldash.
In addition, in certain nominations, the winners were:
- in the nomination “En kishkentai izdempaz” - Tamerlan Mamedov;
- in the nomination “En Zeyindi Okushy” - Maryam Dolgolevets;
- in the nomination “Olen sozdin sheberi” - Akkenzhe Kairatkyzy, Kaldybay Zhanbota;
- in the nomination “Kara olenin karlygashy” - Akniet Smadiyarova;
- in the nomination “Urpaktar Onegesi” - Karagoz Mazhitova and Zhanerke Berikova;
- in the nomination “Onerli Orender” - Ergash and Balausa Bagym;
- in the nomination “En izdempaz katysushi” - Tolganay Kydyrbay.
The winners and prizewinners were awarded diplomas and valuable prizes.
