National Atomic Company “Kazatomprom” JSC participated in BMO’s investment conference for the metals and mining sector.
Dastan Kosherbayev, Kazatomprom’s Chief Commercial Officer, presented at the 33rd Global Metals, Mining & Critical Minerals Conference that took place 25-28 February in the United States.
Mr. Kosherbayev provided an overview of the uranium market, spoke about Kazatomprom’s activities and strategy, production and sales volumes, ISR uranium mining technology, logistics and supply chain challenges, commitment to ESG principles, and the Company’s expectations for 2024.
BMO Capital Markets conference is one of the largest in the industry, and brought together nearly 1,600 global institutional investors and experts. There were presentations from more than 190 companies touching on key themes from critical minerals, commodities, energy transition and decarbonisation in the context of world events and the global economic outlook.
