Today, Vice Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan Dauren Kengbeil delivered a welcoming speech on behalf of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan O.A. Bektenov at the opening of the international Business Forum, DKnews.kz reports.
During the speech, the role of the Eurasian Development Bank in the implementation of large-scale plans for the economic development of the participating states and the deepening of Eurasian integration was noted. Almost two thirds of his projects have an integration effect, contributing to the expansion of trade and economic ties between the states of the region.
The Vice Minister of Finance stressed the importance of the Business Forum and expressed confidence in its successful completion at a high level.
Dauren Kengbeil took part in the panel session "Islamic Finance in Central Asia", organized jointly by the Institute of the Islamic Development Bank and the Eurasian Development Bank.

In addition, a number of bilateral meetings were held on the sidelines of the Business Forum.
At the meeting with Deputy Minister of Finance of Russia Chebeskov I.A., the development of bilateral relations in the field of financial cooperation, as well as strengthening cooperation within the framework of development institutions were discussed.
The parties agreed to continue consultations within the framework of the next Kazakh-Russian financial dialogue.
Following the talks with Vice President of the New BRICS Development Bank Kazbekov V.S., the parties exchanged views on the current situation in international financial markets, the issues on the impact of sanctions on the global economy.
The Business Forum is being held in Almaty, 27-28 June, 2024, the event is organized by the Eurasian Development Bank.
The Forum is attended by representatives of government agencies, international organizations and the business community.
