Paintings of Kazakh Artist Presented in Seoul, DKnews.kz reports.
In Seoul, an exhibition of artists from Central Asian countries and the South Korea titled “K-Art with North” was organized, showcasing the exquisite works of Kazakh artist Bakyt Shuketayev.
While speaking at the opening ceremony, Nurgali Arystanov, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Korea, stated that the South Korean strategy with regard to Central Asia, the “K-Silk ROAD,” places a significant emphasis on deepening cultural ties between the countries of the region and the Republic of Korea. He noted that the further deepening of multifaceted dialogue within the framework of the “Central Asia – Republic of Korea” Cooperation Forum plays a special role in this process.
In his speech, Dr. Kang Jun Young, Director of the Center for International Area Studies at the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, pointed out that following the recent visit of President Yoon Suk Yeol of the Republic of Korea to Central Asia, there had been a significant increase in interest in the region and a revitalization of cultural ties.
The parties agreed to further develop cultural and humanitarian exchanges, thus encouraging the expansion of people-to-people.
The exhibition, held at the initiative of the Korean side in one of the city’s bustling tourist areas – Bukchon, will continue until July 19, 2024.
