Kazakhstan's low-cost airline FlyArystan expanded its fleet with a new Airbus A320 CEO aircraft with 180 seats, DKnews.kz reports.

The aircraft is equipped with spacious and comfortable Recaro seats. Like all Airbus A320 models, it is characterized by a low level of noise in the cabin and many lighting options for a comfortable stay of passengers.

"The Airbus A320 is operationally efficient for our network and is recognized as one of the most favorable aircraft for short- and medium-haul flights. This addition marks our commitment to providing passengers with the best travel experience and is particularly important to receive during the peak summer period” Richard Ledger, Acting President of FlyArystan

Following tradition, a passenger of the airline chose the aircraft's name. The naming process occurred in the new international terminal of Almaty Airport for the first time. The plane was named Altair in honor of the eponymous star. It became the 23rd in the Kazakh low-cost airline fleet.

FlyArystan is a low-cost airline based in Kazakhstan. The airline commenced operations in May 2019 and operates a comprehensive network of low-fare flights on a modern fleet of A320 aircraft from bases in Almaty, Astana, Atyrau, Aktau, and Shymkent. FlyArystan's route network includes domestic and international routes and charter flights to Georgia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, India, UAE, Qatar, and China. FlyArystan was twice recognized as the Best Low-Cost Carrier in Central Asia & CIS at the prestigious Skytrax World Airline Awards (in 2023 and 2024).
