Kazakh Foreign Minister was Received by the Prime Minister of India, DKnews.kz reports.
As part of his official visit to India, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu took part in a joint meeting of the foreign ministers of the Central Asian countries with the Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi.
During the discussion, the parties addressed a number of pressing issues related to bilateral and multilateral cooperation aimed at further strengthening the strategic partnership. The main focus was placed on expanding political dialogue, enhancing economic relations, advancing joint initiatives within multilateral frameworks, and deepening collaboration within the framework of the “Central Asia – India” Dialogue.
The Kazakh Foreign Minister highlighted the importance of systematic cooperation with India as one of key international partners and expressed Astana’s readiness to engage in mutually beneficial initiatives on both bilateral and regional platforms. In response, the Prime Minister of India emphasized the considerable potential for further strengthening New Delhi’s ties with the countries of Central Asia, where Kazakhstan is recognized as a regional leader.
The parties reaffirmed their interest in maintaining political dialogue, including high-level visits, and agreed to strengthen the regional architecture of cooperation.
