Kazakh Foreign Minister Met with Kazzinc Holdings Management, DKNews.kz reports.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yermek Kosherbayev held a meeting with Gavin Hill, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kazzinc Holdings LLP, and Zhanat Zhanbotin, CEO of this company.
During the meeting, current issues related to the implementation of existing projects were reviewed, prospects for the development of new fields and plans for geological exploration were discussed, as well as issues concerning the further expansion of production capacity and modernization of existing assets.
Special attention was paid to sustainable development, compliance with environmental standards, logistics optimization, and ensuring the long-term stability of raw material supplies. The parties also discussed opportunities for attracting additional investment in Kazakhstan’s mining and metallurgical sector, developing human resources, and implementing modern technological solutions.
Minister Kosherbayev noted that Kazzinc is among the key players in Kazakhstan’s mining and metallurgical complex, having made a significant contribution to the development of the industry, the modernization of production facilities, and the strengthening of the country’s export potential over many years. He welcomed the company’s plans to expand its presence in Kazakhstan and implement new projects, stressing that the Government will continue to provide the necessary support for stable operations and further investment.
