Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the United Arab Emirates Rauan Zhumabek held a meeting with Khalifa Mubarak Al Zahiri, Rector of the Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities, to discuss strengthening educational and cultural ties between the two countries, DKNews.kz reports.

The talks focused on prospects for academic collaboration, humanitarian initiatives, and the development of bilateral partnerships in higher education.
Discussion of Kazakhstan’s reforms
During the meeting, Zhumabek briefed his counterpart on the political and socio-economic reforms underway in Kazakhstan at the initiative of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
Special attention was given to the upcoming national referendum on the adoption of a new Constitution, which officials described as a key step in the country’s democratic modernization.
According to the ambassador, the referendum aims to:
