Within the walls of KazNU named after Al-Farabi, the XIX Republican debate tournament for the challenge cup of the party "Nur Otan" was held, timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.
The tournament was attended by 40 teams from all regions of the country. Speakers and word craftsmen showed their skill. It should be noted that from March 11 to March 31, qualifying games were held in all regions of the country. Based on their results, 40 winning teams from the Kazakh and Russian leagues were selected for the Republican Debate Tournament. The XIX Republican Debate Tournament was held with the support of the KazNU named after Al-Farabi. The main organizer of the tournament is MK "Jas Otan" with the party "Nur Otan". As the organizers noted, the debates provide an opportunity to analyze any situation in real time from different angles and seek solutions to complex problems.
Young Zhasotanovites, activists, students and representatives of debate clubs discussed the pressing problems of their regions, expressed their opinion and presented their own vision of solving current problems by analogy with "cases". All participants were looking for answers to pressing questions on such topics as: "Complete transition of the world to the online format", "Compulsory vaccination of all Kazakhstanis", "An effective mechanism for the prevention of bullying in schools of the country" and much more.
As Nurzhan Zhetpisbayev, the head of MK “Jas Otan”, noted, debates help to realize the potential of young people, develop new leaders and provide answers to pressing issues of society.
Based on the results of a two-day debate, the best teams in the Kazakh and Russian leagues were determined. The winners were awarded with mementos and prizes.
