Under the chairmanship of the State Secretary of the Republic of Kazakhstan Krymbek Kusherbayev, a meeting of the National Commission on the implementation of the program for the modernization of public consciousness under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held. During the meeting, which was held in the format of a videoconference, the current results of the implementation of the program were discussed and priority areas for further work were identified.
Opening the meeting, Krymbek Kusherbayev noted that the Head of State Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, in his program article "Independence Above All", outlined the value guidelines for the further development of the "Rukhani Zhagyru" program initiated by the First President - Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev. Firstly, it is the protection and respect of the sacred values of our Independence, and secondly, a clear state position on topical issues of social development.
The Secretary of State stressed that in the face of modern risks and challenges of globalization, the Rukhani Zhagyru program is the most important guideline for the development of human capital and a mechanism for building a new ideological agenda for our society.
According to Deputy Prime Minister Yeraly Tugzhanov, in 2020, within the framework of the Action Plan of the Rukhani Zhagyru program, more than 30,000 events were held, which covered about 8 million people. New value approaches and mechanisms for the implementation of the Program made it possible to expand activities in three main areas: "Personal development", "National identity and increasing international status", "Development of the state, civil society and local community". Four new special projects have been introduced: "Enem - Kogam Kuaty", "Dastur men uryp", "Kyktyk madeniet" and "Enbek - eldin muraty".
Within the framework of the special project "Tugan Zher" last year, domestic patrons invested about 10 billion tenge in the development of key regional infrastructure facilities, built 537 and reconstructed 445 socially significant objects.
The meeting participants were also presented with a special Roadmap for the implementation of the Program for the Modernization of Public Consciousness.
The well-known scientist, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Talas Omarbekov, Chairman of the Board of the State Center for National Cinema Support Esetzhan Kosubaev, philanthropist from Borodulikha district of East Kazakhstan region Konstantin Pop, executive director of the Association of Fellows of the Bolashak International Scholarship Laura Demesinova spoke at the meeting.
Following the meeting, the Government was given a number of instructions to ensure high-quality and efficient implementation of the Roadmap of the Rukhani Zhagyru program for 2021.
The Secretary of State also instructed to consider the proposals and recommendations of the National Commission, including on the opening of the project office "People's History" to write a complete academic history of Kazakhstan, to strengthen the theme of the special project "History in Cinema and on Television", the development of tourism within the framework of the special project "Kieli Kazakhstan" , the creation of a domestic Bank of Inventors. Attention was also drawn to the need to provide high-quality cultural, educational and educational content, especially for children and youth.
