Kazakhstan Engineering and Technology University has started International-scientific and practical conference “Integration of education, science and production: actual problems, achievemenets and innovations”. Scientists from Kazakhstan, Turkey, Russia, Canada, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan are taking part in the conference, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.
Rector of Kazahstan Engeeniring and Technological University Sarsenbekova Gulnar Alibekovna made a welcoming speech at the grand opening of the conference.
“The policy of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev on the activation of innovative transformations in the economy poses the task of training elite personnel for the higher school of Kazakhstan. The entire activity of the Kazakhstan Engineering and Technological University is aimed at training just such specialists-engineers. In 2020, the Development Program of the Kazakhstan Engineering and Technological University was adopted - a program for transforming the university into an entrepreneurial university, which provides for the training of innovative specialists adapted to the market by strengthening the role of fundamental education, implementing the principle of “learning through science”, introducing educational information technologies, forming “ soft skills "during the educational process", - noted Gulnar Sarsenbekova.
At the conference, international scientists will exchange scientific experience, discuss the integration of education, science and production.
