Following a good tradition, the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Switzerland initiated the issue of a jubilee web stamp in honor of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Switzerland, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.
Switzerland is one of the first countries in Europe recognized the independence of Kazakhstan. In particular, on June 1, 1992, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Tuleutai Suleimenov, on behalf of the Government of Kazakhstan, in a verbal note addressed to the Ambassador of Switzerland in Russia (geographically was responsible at that time for cooperation with Kazakhstan), confirmed the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Switzerland.
On November 29, 2021 in Geneva, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Federal President of Switzerland Guy Parmelin noted with satisfaction the active dynamics of political and economic contacts between our countries, confirming the desire to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation across the entire spectrum of bilateral ties.

Switzerland is a reliable political partner of Kazakhstan in Europe, one of the ten largest trading partners of our country and is the third largest investor in the economy of sovereign Kazakhstan.
The web stamp is planned to be used in the daily correspondence of the Embassy, as well as like souvenirs.
