On May 24, 2022, Kazakhstan's delegation led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Adil Tursunov participated in the "Brainstorm" meeting held in Tehran at the level of Deputy Foreign Ministers of the member-states of the Economic Cooperation Organization, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.
The delegation included the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Iran, the Permanent Representative to the ECO Askhat Orazbay, and the representatives of Kazakhstan's government agencies.
The primary purpose of the meeting was to intensify the activities of the Organization and to increase the pace of the member states' collaboration.
The head of Kazakhstan's delegation in his report presented proposals from the Kazakh side and called for increasing the effectiveness of the Organization.
In the framework of the event, Mr. Adil Tursunov held a meeting with ECO Secretary General Mr.Khusrav Noziri.
The two sides discussed the current level of cooperation between the Organization and the Republic of Kazakhstan and ways for their further development.
