On June 15, 2022 KIMEP University welcomed a delegation from the Turkish Ibn Haldun University. Necmettin Bilal Erdogan, the son of the President of Turkey, is a Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ibn Haldun University, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.
Heads of both universities discussed the topical issues of development of Kazakh-Turkish cooperation in the sphere of education.
At the meeting the Memorandum of Understanding between KIMEP University and Ibn Haldun University was signed. Signing this memorandum will ensure the improvement of academic, cultural and scholarly exchange in the sphere of education and scientific research. Heads of universities intend to put joint efforts into internationalization of higher education.
Also, several agreements on faculty and student mobility programs were signed. Now the students and faculty of both universities will be able to conduct the joint research projects, to take part in trainings, to take short-term courses, internships or apprenticeships in the partner institution.
