Akmola region is known for creating a powerful agricultural cooperation, from production to packaging. The largest in terms of production in Central Asia (85 thousand tons of meat products per year) Makinskaya poultry farm; oil extraction plant "Bota-2015" with a storage capacity of 150 thousand tons of raw materials and the production of 600 tons of vegetable oils per day; certified according to international standards, the producer of organic products "Enbek", cultivating the wheat variety "Khorosan", or "Pharaoh's grain", which is several thousand years old; the country's leader in the production of polypropylene sacking Asyl-Arman (Novopek). Thanks to the creation of a cluster in the region for the production of feed, grain, vegetable oils, poultry meat, fattening sites and meat processing, packaging and other interrelated industries, enterprises in the region have the opportunity to develop deep, practically waste-free processing and reduce the cost of socially significant goods.
The diversified agricultural enterprise "Enbek" in the Enbek aul district has been operating for more than 20 years, developing crop and animal husbandry industries. The company has 4,000 hectares of ecologically certified land, grows organic wheat with a low gluten content (Khorasan). This is an export-oriented product, in demand in European countries. In addition to organic products, the company has a dairy farm that supplies products to local factories and markets in Astana. In 2022, Enbek produced 4,302 tons of milk, 11 thousand tons of grain. Enbek LLP plans to further develop dairy production, an application has been submitted for inclusion in the pool of projects of the Akmola region to receive preferential loans for the construction of a dairy farm for 600 heads. He actively uses the latest technologies in field breeding and animal husbandry.
The Markinsky poultry Farm, part of the Aitas holding, also plans to participate in a preferential lending project to expand production. In December of last year, the factory completed the 2nd stage of expansion, in April of this year - the third stage. Today, the factory produces 85 thousand tons of meat products per year, providing jobs for 1,500 people. After entering stage 3, the number of employees will increase to two thousand, and the capacity of the enterprise will reach 100-110 thousand tons per year.
Already today, producing 85 thousand tons of meat per year, we are on the 8th-10th place in the scale of Russian producers and on the first in Central Asia. Serik Zhumangarin discussed topical issues with agricultural producers at the enterprise.
