Nazarbayev University Technopark is proud to announce the upcoming opening of the first factory for the production of coronary stents and balloons in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. The opening ceremony will be held on May 11, 2023 at 10.00 at the Technopark of Nazarbayev University.
The leadership of Nazarbayev University, representatives of the Government of Kazakhstan, the Akimat of Astana city, diplomatic missions of Spain and Kazakhstan, as well as experts in the field of interventional cardiology from Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries were invited to the opening ceremony of the factory. Guests will be able to visit the NURIS Technopark, the IHT Central Asia factory and get acquainted with the innovative technologies used on the site. As part of the event, a symposium will be organized with the participation of clinical specialists from Kazakhstan and Central Asia, where thematic reports will be presented.
The production of coronary stents and balloons will be carried out by IHT Central Asia LLP in accordance with the obtained licenses for their production. This is a Kazakh-Spanish enterprise for the production of medical devices, located in the Technopark of Nazarbayev University. The company develops the transfer of European technologies in interventional cardiology, develops and manufactures technological solutions for efficient and affordable protection of patients' health.
